Forest Glen Organic Farm, which is an idyllic camping venue,
is pleased to host groups of campers by arrangement. Unfortunately, we are not set up to receive casual campers who are:
- Travelling singly or in very small numbers,
- Staying just one night or
- Just passing by with no prior booking, BUT ...
We welcome organised groups of 10
or more people who are planning a camping trip of two overnight stays or more.
As well as the farm and bushland, Forest Glen boasts large, flat areas, free
of trees or other hazards. An amenities block caters for toilet/shower needs,
and a laundry is available by arrangement, as are refrigeration, freezer and
storage areas (for that luggage that you don't want cluttering your tent).
Power is available for an extra fee.
Acclaimed for its wide open spaces and the less rigid rules imposed on campers,
the property offers features not possible in crowded tourist camping grounds.
Think tranquility, walking, cricket, football, boating/fishing in Bungawalbyn
Creek (BYO licences and equipment), late night campfires...
We do have a few rules, one of which is that you cannot make your own campfire
(so cooking must be done on your camp stove), but Forest Glen boasts an open air fire circle that can be booked
(weather and fire bans permitting). Some mighty fine fires have been lit in that fire circle.
Our current tariff is just $50 per night per tent, based on a family of four (two adults and two kids).
Extra adults are just $15 per night and extra children (3 or older) just $10 per night.
Remember, this is not just a camp site. This gives you full access to most of the farm's areas and facilities,
including the amenities block, the BBQ (unless being used for a function), the in-ground swimming pool
and the farm dogs, but not including the homestead, the farm stay (and attached games room) and the WWOOF room.
Power is available for just $5 per night.
Please contact Amanda or Trevor to check availability.
