Accommodation with Special Needs Services

Forest Glen Organic Farm offers a unique service for aged or disabled people who are able to weight bear but must otherwise travel with a carer. Amanda has earned her Certificate III in aged care, and consequently is qualified to offer, by arrangement, her services to assist with:

  • Showering


  • Toileting


  • Preparing for bed or for a new day

This means that people who would like to accompany their aged parents or disabled friends/family to a farm stay environment will know that they will not only be welcomed at Forest Glen, but will also be helped with the care of the loved one or friend. Forest Glen is equipped with men's and ladies' showers and toilets for those who have minimal mobility. On hand are:

  • Bed rail


  • Walking frame


  • Shower/toilet chair

    • A small additional charge per day per assisted person is all it will cost the carer (refer tariffs page), over and above standard tariffs, to enjoy relief and respite, while the friend/loved one will enjoy the relaxed atmosphere of Forest Glen.
