As featured on Sydney Weekender on 16th October 2010

Hosts Trevor and Amanda Roberts: Authors of "WWOOF Hosting: A Practical Guide"

Located in Bungawalbyn in Northern NSW, Forest Glen Organic Tea Tree farm is a 65 hectare mixed farm, with about 20 hectares of certified organic tea tree plantation. The remainder is 50% natural bush, and 50% cleared, with a 400m frontage to Bungawalbin Creek.

It also has a reception centre for group visits, weddings, parties, seminars, etc., and a separate cottage for farmstay styled accommodation. Owners need WWOOFers to assist with keeping farm in working order.

Work includes hothouse work and crop planting, tea tree plantation maintenance and garden/yard maintenance. Clean and comfortable accommodation. Great meals. Friendly hosts. Use of facilities, including swimming pool. WiFi internet for email and lookups. No smoking inside. If you are an interested WWOOFer, contact Amanda and Trevor and indicate that you are interested in WWOOFing.

For WWOOF Hosts: Due to our extensive experience at WWOOF Hosting, we have written a guide book that is choc full of useful information and advice. We wish we had such a reference when we started our WWOOF Hosting journey! For just A$15, this .pdf format book can be yours to peruse and use or ignore, according to your needs. If you are a present or potential WWOOF Host who is interested in reading our book, "WWOOF Hosting: A Practical Guide", order by email contact Amanda and Trevor (indicate you wish to order the book) or order it through PayPal here:
